It is confirmed that Sara Ali Khan’s debut Kedarnath will be in for a long legal battle. Few days ago, the news broke about a spat between producer Prerana Aroraa and director Abhishek Kapoor and Arora’s KriArj Entertainment told about seeking legal help. Abhishek Kapoor is co-producing the film under his production house Guy In The Sky.

KriArj Entertainment has confirmed that they are approaching the Bombay High Court to sue Guy In The Sky and issued a statement regarding the same. KriArj entertainment will be represented by lawyer Lavin C Hirani in the court. Hirani has issued the statement informing about the legal action to be sought by KriArj Ent.

“In spite of the above, KriArj provided its unconditional support to GITS and continued to make huge investments in the film till it was realised that the amounts were not being used for the right purposes. KriArj has tried to salvage the situation with GITS several times including making multiple efforts to resolve issues to no avail. KriArj, TSeries and Balaji are the rightful owners of the film as its co-producers and therefore GITS has no rights to oust KriArj out of the film and out of it’s legal rights as producers and owners of the film. We will be moving the Bombay High Court for enforcing our rights on the film by early next week and we hope to secure the necessary reliefs from the Hon’ble Court.”

The controversy surrounding the film has put Sara Ali Khan’s career at stake.
