Khalid Latif is to be ban along with the fine when Pakistan Cricket Board's anti-corruption tribunal will announce its review of his case in which he is involved in the spot-fixing scandal in the second edition of the Pakistan Super League.

As per the PCB reports Khalid Latif will be charged with the strict punishment for being involved in one of the main culprits in the case. The Dawn quoted PCB official as saying that Khalid Latif is already facing six charges on him, which is the maximum in number and when compared to three other cricketers already named in the list. Therefore is likely that there will be no leniency for him in the case of scandal.
Khalid will also be fined along being banned for seven to eight years. Khalid was blamed with the charge of attempting to spot-fixing, and accepting an offer by a bookmaker which he didn't report on the time and also he encourages other players to take part in spot-fixing too.
Along with Khalid Latif other four members who are involved in such kind of scandal are Mohammad Irfan, Nasir Jamshed, Shahzaib Hasan, and Mohammad Nawaz are being an investigation by the PCB tribunal and have also been provisionally suspended.
