Khiladi replace Salman in sequel of ‘No Entry’

The Khiladi of Bollywood Akshay Kumar has been part of some really good slice-of-life films of late. However, if the latest buzz is to be believed, Akshay Kumar will be back to doing some masala entertainer very soon. Akshay Kumar has been reportedly roped in for the sequel of Anees Bazmee’s ‘No Entry’. According to reports, the sequel to the 2005 film is going to have a new cast and Akshay Kumar has been approached to replace the character of Salman Khan in the film. The works of scripting and casting is reportedly underway. The original film featured Anil Kapoor, Fardeen Khan, Bipasha Basu, Lara Dutta, Esha Deol and Celina Jaitly in prominent characters.

The sequel to the 2005 film, which originally starred Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, and Fardeen Khan in the lead roles, has been rumoured to have been going on floors time and again. The filmmakers were supposedly waiting for Salman to give his dates, however, that couldn’t happen. A source tells a leading media portal, “They are looking at Akshay to replace Salman in the sequel. Akshay has not yet given the nod to the film. He is likely to speak to Salman about it first.Salman last worked with Anees in Ready (2011), whereas Akshay has worked with the director in Welcome (2007) Singh is Kinng (2008), and Thank You (2011). Meanwhile, Salman Khan recently wrapped up his film Tiger Zinda Hai, and his next film, Race 3, alongside Jacqueline Fernandez has also gone on floors. His upcoming film Tiger Zinda Hai is set to release on December 22.
