In the Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir, the terrorists abducted 3 policemen and brutally murdered them. The bullet gunned bodies of the three policemen have been recovered from a forest in Kaparan village. The 2 out of three special officers identified as Firdous, Kulwant Singh and Nisar Ahmed. According to sources, the terrorists who had abducted all of three is Hizbul Mujahideen commander Riyaz Nayaku .

It may be noted that Naiku took responsibility for kidnapping through a video of 12 minutes. He also gave three days time to release all the family members of terrorists in the video. Not only that, the terrorists of Hizbul Mujahideen also threatened to resign all the policemen and stick posters and Whatsapp messages to threaten them. Posters were also hurled in many villages of Jammu and Kashmir. In the video, the terrorists also said that the copy of the resignation should be uploaded to the Internet.

Addressing to the media SP Pani, IGP Kashmir on the murder of three policemen in south Kashmir's Shopian said that It was a cowardice act. He assured that action would be taken and the investigation is on asserting “we shall bring the accused to justice”.

Riyaz Naiku alias Mohammad bin Qasim has top grade in the Army's Hitlist. He's been described as an A ++ category. Naiku, a resident of Bandipora, is involved in terror activities in Kashmir since 2010. Riyaz Naiku has been considered a moderate face among the hardcore terrorists. 29-year-old Riaz Nayaku was appointed as a new commander after the death of earlier Hizbul Commander Subarabat Butt.
