Nearly, a weak and half time from inaugurate of 11th season of IPL, with 14 matches having been played by each franchise across India. Up till now a quarter of the league stage match has been completed, and certain trends have emerged. With five wickets in three matches so far in this year’s IPL. Sunrisers Hyderabad pacer, the 27-year-old Siddharth Kaul is among in the top-ten bowlers. The 27-year-old, who was the third-highest wicket-taker with 16 wickets for Sunrisers Hyderabad in last year’s IPL, was once again bought by the SRH for Rs 3.8 crore and the Punjab speedster has played his part in the three wins for the table-toppers. Kaul, whose father Tej Kaul worked as a trainer with Indian cricket team in the 1990’s, believes that variations in his pace has helped him this season.
The Sunrisers Hyderabad medium pacer Siddharth Kaul said that he was working hard to perfection on bowling the knuckle ball. Siddharth Kaul said that he has also improved on his pace by having more variation. With three wins from as many matches in the ongoing IPL, the Kane Williamson-led SRH are a formidable side having a strong bowling attack with the likes of Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Billy Stanlake, Rashid Khan, Kaul and Shakib Al Hasan. About his bowling, Kaul said, “I focus on my basics, I prepare to further strengthen my strong points. I always keep a positive frame of mind. I focus on my performance and do best for my team.” Meanwhile, SRH pacer Billy Stanlake said having little bit of depth and variety in bowling attack is always helpful.
