Caribbean all-rounder batsmen Kieron Pollard, who has been associated with the Mumbai Indians (MI). Kieron Pollard, who has been part of Mumbai Indian since IPL season 2010. Pollard is known for his power-hitting, slow bowl variations and unbelievable catches. Pollard has scored 2,371 runs and picked up 56 wickets in his 126-IPL-match with Mumbai Indians. The most-capped player (416), who is yet to fire the cylinders in VIVO IPL 2018, is ready to go all out in the big contests against star powered Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on Tuesday at Wankhede Stadium. RCB boasts of players like Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers, Quinton de Kock, Brendon McCullum who can pose threat to MI’s meak bowling attack. Rohit has scored 202 runs from 6 matches against RCB in Wankhede at average of 50.50 with strike rate of 202. Pollard, on the other hand, has scored 203 runs from 6 matches against RCB here at 50.75 with strike rate of 175. However, Mumbai Indian’s luck has always been dangling till the last ball of the game. Pollard rued those he team’s inability to close out the first three games: “I don’t think we’re done right now. If we are done, then we should be at home. I think we had conversations about it. We had talks at different levels on what we need to do to go forward and finish those games. So the guys are looking forward to it. We had practice sessions. Monday was our last practice before the big game.”
