On Tuesday, it was glorious day for defending champions Mumbai Indians in pursuit of their first win of IPL 2018. Mumbai Indians took on mighty Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at the Wankhede Stadium. The last-night game was completely a one-sided affair, as Rohit Sharma’s blue-army put into bat by the run-machine aka Virat Kohli recovered from 0 runs with loss of 2 wickets to put on a mammoth total on the board 213 runs of 6 wickets in their 20 overs on the back of skipper Rohit Sharma's brilliance knock of 94 runs from just 52 balls and an supporting and entertaining knock of 65 runs by Mumbai Indians opener Evin Lewis.

After picking a couple of wicket in first two balls of the innings, RCB chasing a tremendous score of 214, Royal Challengers Bangalore were never in the chase as the lost wickets at regular intervals and just managed to put 167/8 in their 20 overs in reply of 213 runs. RCB skipper Kohli put up gutsy fighting a lone battle by scoring an unbeaten innings of 92 runs off 62 balls, and in the process handed Mumbai Indians their first victory of this IPL season. “Lewis is very hard to bowl at once he gets in. The other day he played a crucial knock as well, but we did a mistake of not finishing off against Delhi Daredevils. If he continues to bat this way, then life will be much easier for our other batsmen,” Rohit Sharma said.
