Indian tablets have made their place in the top of the PC market. In the third quarter of the current financial year, where there is a decline of four percent annually, Lenovo's business has seen an increase of 94% compared to the previous quarter.

In addition, its market share has increased to 20.3%. This information was given by the market research firm CMR. In case of unit shipments, 'Acer' in tablet PC market is second in the country with a 16 percent stake. According to CMR's key analyst Narinder Kumar, after a subsequent collaboration with tablet corporates, the usage of tablet PCs in the government sector is also going up.

Education has been a major area in terms of purchase and sale among B2B sales. Also, in the third quarter of 2017, education has been the reason for the fast pace of business in this sector. According to the analyst, the reason behind the rise in Lenovo's business is planning to sell its tablet under 'Namo e-Tab Tablet Sahay Yojana' in August.

“Over a period of time, tablet PCs are finding improved adoption in corporate as well as government segment. Education was the key segment for B2B sales and the key driving force behind the growth in 3Q 2017,” Narinder Kumar, Lead Analyst, CMR, said in a statement.
