JAIPUR: Congress president Rahul Gandhi addressed s on Thursday a public rally at Sagwara in Dungarpur district, adjoining Udaipur. He arrived in Udaipur earlier today along with senior party leader Ashok Gehlot. Gandhi scion was welcomed by Rajasthan Congress chief Sachin Pilot at Dabok Airport in Udaipur. Sagwara, is a tribal area. This is Gandhi's first public meeting after he launched the party's poll campaign in Jaipur in August for the upcoming state assembly elections. 

Once again Rahul Gandhi lashed out PM Modi led BJP government on Rafel deal issue, as saying Anil Ambani did not make an airplane in his entire life, but PM Modi gave the contract to Anil Ambani without asking Defense Minister.He added that the UPA Government had kept the rate of Rs 526 crores per airplane but Narendra Modi's new contract has rated Rs 1600 crore.

Rahul also targeted  Modi's ambitious Bullet train project as saying, Railway budget of India is ₹1,50,000Cr. But, PM Modi announced bullet train of ₹1,00,000Cr that only benefits a handful of people.

Rahul also torn the Made in India vision of PM Modi as saying, " Hum chahte hain ki ek din aap apne phone ke peeche dekho aur uspe likha ho 'Made in Rajasthan', 'Made in Dungarpur'. Just three days before, In Poll bound Madhyapradesh Rahul also asserted "Made in Bhopal " to woo the voters in the name of patriotism.

He announced that Congress party will fight the elections in Rajasthan with unity and alleviate the suffering of the people in Rajasthan.

Earlier Congress President visited the Gayatri Mandir, Sagwara and offered prayers. 

Apart from his Rahul aslo cornered Modi led BJP on the issue of  GST, FM Arun Jaitley's meeting with fugitive Vijay Mallya.
