Malala Yousafzai, the  Pakistan's Nobel Peace Prize laureate in an honorary citizenship ceremony in Ottawa has been awarded the honorary citizen of Canada after she has become the youngest honorary citizen of Canada.

She as per the sources news said "I'm humbled to accept honorary citizenship of your country," "While I will always be a proud Pashtun and a proud citizen of Pakistan, I'm grateful to be an honorary member of your nation of heroes," 

The Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau gave a certificate with a flag to her which documented her citizenship.
