Mamata accuses BJP, says it is distributing people on religious grounds

The Chief Minister of Bengal and the Trinamool Congress chief, Mamta Banerjee, described the BJP as a militant outfit who is engaged in distributing people on a religious basis. Mamta, a critic of the saffron party, also alleged that the BJP is tampering EVMs to increase vote share in the state. She appealed to his party workers to prepare for the next Lok Sabha elections as it is in the eyes of the whole country. 

She said, "We are not like militant organizations like BJP. They are arrogant and intolerant. They are religiously biased. They do not like Muslims, Christians, Sikhs. They also discriminate between Hindus and the people of upper castes and backward castes."  Attacking the BJP, she said, 'They are threatening to strike. Since they are in power in Delhi, they talk about bomb blasts. I challenge them to come and show us the power. We will tell them in the elections." 

West Bengal BJP President Dilip Ghosh said that his party believes in democracy but Trinamool Congress does not believe in it. He alleged that he did not allow fair and free voting in the state's Panchayat elections. Ghosh had said on Tuesday that if Trinamool Congress people attack their party workers, they will not tolerate it. They threatened to retaliate. 

BJP's general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya said that the Trinamool Congress is the champion of supremo appeasement politics. He said that Mamata Banerjee is the champion of appeasement politics and during her reign, there is complete chaos and disorder in the state. He questioned that who is Mamta Banerjee to give character certificate to anyone. The BJP leader said that the people of the state will teach them a lesson in the next elections.
