Buying an iPhone from e-commerce website Flipkart proved to be a 'loss deal' for a user. A software engineer from Mumbai bought an iPhone from the e-commerce website Flipkart but in lieu of this order, he should take detergent soap.

It is reported that software engineer Tabrez Mahbub Nagarali ordered an iPhone 8 from the website, in which he found a soapbox. Tabrez has filed a fraud case against the website. According to the information, Tabrez, who lived in the Panvel area of Mumbai, had ordered an 8-inch iPhone with 64 GB variant, for which he had to pay the price of 55,000 rupees.

"On Thursday, Tabrez brought this complaint and filed a case of fraud against Flipkart," Avinash Shingte, a senior police officer of the city's Bikila Police Station, told PTI. In a statement to a website, Flipkart said, "The company is adopting a tough attitude towards such incidents of messing with customers' trust. We are investigating the matter and will get the solution as soon as possible. "

Let us tell you that this is not the first time that when a customer has something else in return for the actual product. In May last year, a customer from Mumbai received washing powder and soap instead of two Samsung smartphones from Flipkart. Seeing the case was not a timely solution, the customer had resorted to legal action against the e-commerce website and the delivery agency e-cart.

In another similar case, the customer of e-commerce website Snapdeal underwent a similar experience in the year 2015, when he got soap and brick in the box instead of the Samsung Duos phone. Even in the year 2016, a customer was sent soap tiles instead of Galaxy Note 4 ordered from Flipkart.
