The fans of ace actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui were eagerly waiting for his film Manto which have been released Yesterday. Its a biopic on the legendary writer Saadat Hasan Manto which potrays the different aspects of the life of the writer.
Story
The story is set in year 1946, Saadat Hasan Manto, a well-established short story writer works in the glittering world of the Bombay film industry as a scriptwriter. There is a lot of ups and downs in their lives. As with censorship, they have an old antagonism. Manto also loved the fictional world more than its real life. But his interpretation was influenced most by society. What happens in the last? Why he should be a disputed writer. You have to see the movie Manto for this.
Acting
Nawazuddin Siddiqui has perfectly nailed the character of the Manto and again proves that he is one of the best actor in industry. Apart from him, other actor has also done their job well.
Direction
Firaaq director Nandita has done the good job but it could be better.

If you are Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s fan then you must go and even if you are not you can watch it once to witness the life of a writer.
