#MeToo: Alok Nath’s wife files a defamation case of Re. 1 against Tara fame Vinta Nanda

Following Tanushree Dutta’s footstep TV producer and writer Vinta Nanda had also opened up about her bad experience with Alok Nath whom she accused of rape and sexual stalking in her Face Book post. Following which, Alok Nath had lodged a defamation case against her and recently his wife Ashu Singh has filed an application against Vinta Nand . She decided to go to the court against these allegations.

Times of India report suggested that Ashu has filed an application in the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate in a Court wherein she has urged to the police to probe the matter. Alok Nath and his wife Ashu Singh also filed a defamation case against the producer of Tara wherein they have sought a compensation of Rs. 1. Their lawyer, Ashok Saraogi, in a statement said that a complaint was submitted to the police for defaming their client and the sanskari actor has also moved court in the matter. Nath's wife maintains that Nanda is accusing Alok of such crimes because she blames him for the shutting of the show.

A MeToo movement in India gained momentum as it cannot happen until and unless after Tanushree Dutta’s revelation for justice in the 10 years ago means 2008 incident wherein she had alleged that the veteran actor of B-town Nana Patekar had harassed her badly on the sets of Horn Ok Please.
