Chhatarpur (Madhya Pradesh) [India], July 17 (NT): One more medical negligence case appeared wherein a pregnant woman was not allowed ambulance in Madhya Pradesh's Chhatarpur area.

The medical practitioners of the community hospital here reportedly denied a pregnant woman and referred her to a district hospital as ANI reported.

The Report further said hospital didn't even give transportation to the woman in Labor pain. She afterward gave birth in an unsanitary condition inside a moving bus.

Speaking about his wife's suffering, the man stated that he had taken her to a community hospital, from where she was referred to a district hospital and no vehicle was given by the community hospital so he took a bus to the district hospital and her wife delivered the baby on way.

A similar incident occurred in Chhattisgarh's Jashpur area on Tuesday, where a pregnant woman in labour pain was forced to walk miles because of the nonappearance of proper roads and medical facilities in the area. The baby died soon after the birth.

Shravan Sharma, who later dropped the woman to the hospital, told the media reports that there is no road from the main road to Balajar Korawa Township. In addition the two bridges through which a patient is taken to the hospital are lying broken from the past two years. Each year several  people suffer because of the deprived construction.
