Melania Trump: MeToo accusers must show "hard evidence"

Washington D.C. [USA], Oct 11 (NT): Addressing the ongoing #MeToo movement, Melania -Daughter of US president Donald Trump asks the sexual molested victims to present proof of their claims. She was appeared for an interview during the trip of Africa this month.

 The United States first lady in her address said to the women that if you are accused of something, show the evidence. Answering the question that if men in the news who have been accused of sexual assaults are treated wrongly, she said, we need to show the evidence and you cannot just say to somebody that 'Oh I was sexually assaulted, or you did that to me,' because every now and then the media goes too far.

Annoying the media, she lauded media as saying that the way they portray some stories, it's not correct, it's not right.

Reports also suggested that while Melania maintained that she supports women, she also added that men need to be supported as well and insensately said  men not just women.

Worth mention here #MeToo is a movement against sexual harassment and sexual assault Kicked off a year ago in Hollywood after The New York Times and The New Yorker published a number of stories about decades-long spoliation of movie bankable Harvey Weinstein. The movement is all set to mark the anniversary on October 15, 2018.
