The Indian Men cricket team yesterday defeated Australia in the third ODI of the ongoing five-match ODI series at the Holkar Stadium, Indore. The Men in Blue now with this win tops the International Cricket Council (ICC) ODI team rankings replacing the South African team. Virat Kohli led side leads the list with 120 rating points. On the second spot is  South Africa with 119 points and on the third place in Australia (114).

The Men in Blue defeated the Australian team by five wickets. With this win now the Indian Men cricket team takes a 3-0 lead in the series.  In yesterday's match Indian openers Rohit Sharma and Rahane scored 71 and 70 runs. Indian captain Virat Kohli scored  28 runs off 35 balls. The Indian cricketer Hardik Pandya scored top score with 78 runs. His wicket was taken by the Pat Cummins. For his great performance, he has declared as the Man of the Match. Kedar Jadhav scored two runs. Manish Pandey and M.S. Dhoni remained not out. 

In the first ODI at Chennai India had a 26-run victory over Australia while in the second match at Kolkata they registered a 50-run win over Aussies.

The Fourth ODI of the series between both the teams is scheduled to be played at Bengaluru on September 28.
