Microsoft launches Kaizala App for Digital Payments

Technology sector giant Microsoft on Tuesday nubbed Digital Payments Services in its social networking app Kaizala in India. That is, the digital payment service has started in Kaizala. Initially, Microsoft has integrated payment services of Yes Bank and Mobikwik.

Payments integration with Microsoft Kaizala will allow users to send or receive money without leaving Kaizala's application. Mr. Rajesh Jha, Executive Vice President of Office Product Group, Microsoft said, "Outlook365, including Microsoft Kaizala, Microsoft Teams, and Outlook, aims to connect this mobile first and mobile-only workforce for modern collaboration and teamwork." 

Users in Microsoft Kaizala have options for pay-to-peer payments in one-to-one and group chat convergence. Users can make this payment through Mobikwik Wallet and YES Bank's Unified Payment Interfaces (UPI) integration.

UPI Payment Integration in Microsoft Kaizala works with all 86 banks and it is already in UPI. There are about 1.9 billion first-line workers worldwide and a large part of this workforce is out of India. According to Rajiv Kumar, corporate vice president of the office product group in Microsoft, "When we launched Microsoft Kaizala for India in July 2017, we made it available to the consumers at a solid chat platform." 

He said "Payment Transactions within the app was a major demand for our users. We are happy to launch this together with YES Bank and Mobikwick today. "

Existing customers of Office 365 can get a free subscription for 12 months through an Early Adopter Program for their users. More than 900 organizations, including Yes Bank, State Bank of India, Apollo Medicine, United Phosphorous and Kendriya Vidyalaya, are using Microsoft Kaizala.
