New Delhi: The Legendary athlete Milkha Singh is going to have his wax statue on display at Madame Tussauds Wax Museum in New Delhi. Earlier, this on the life journey of Singh a Bollywood movie Bhaag Milkha Bhaag was created in which the multi-talented Farhan Akhtar portrayed the role of Milkha Singh.

The wax figure of Singh will be displayed in the New Delhi branch which is going to be the 24th museum of the world famous London-based Madame Tussauds. On December 1, 2017, the New Delhi museum is scheduled to get open and it will be situated at the first and second floors of the famous Regal Cinema building in Connaught Place, central Delhi.

Milkha Singh who is one of the first athletes to win gold in the Commonwealth Games will share the space with the wax statues of Mahatma Gandhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Cricketer Kapil Dev and Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan. 

Milkha Singh's has its statue that to two i.e one in Punjab a 28-feet statue at Jarkhar Village in Ludhiana and 16-feet statue at Ghall Kalan village in Moga. 

There will be five sections at the Madame Tussauds Delhi Museum i.e sports, Bollywood, history and leaders, Hollywood and music according to the website.
