On Tuesday, a minor girl's family approached the police concerning the video of the girl being purportedly sexually assaulted by a boy in Mathura district. The family of the victim said that the boy has recorded the incident on his mobile phone which has gone viral on social media.

According to the police, the incident took place 2 months ago. And recently, the video came to light when the victim's brother saw the video clip. After which, the family filed a police complaint against the accuse, Padam (20) along with his sister-in-law Sunita (25) and his friend Pratap (25).

TOI reports that the minor girl's family told police that Sunita took her the girl home as she knew her for a long time. In her home, Padam and his friend Pratap were waiting. After which, Padam raped the girl and recorded a video of the whole act with the help of his sister-in-law and friend.

Lately, the girl was threatened by the accused and also he warned every time to not to tell anyone about her ordeal. SHO of Barsana police station, Sunil Kumar Tomar said that a case under IPC Section 376 (rape) and sections of the POCSO Act has been registered against the three. While Padam's sister-in-law has been arrested, but the other two manage to escape.
