'Modern Generation's Viv Richards': Harbhajan Singh wishes Virender Sehwag on his 40th birthday

In the Indian cricket world Virender Sehwag, known for his smoky batting in the world of cricket. Veerendra also knows Sehwag as the name of all Veeru, Sehwag was born on October 20, 1978 in Delhi, Sehwag is a former Indian cricketer. He is also called 'Nawab of Najafgarh', 'Sultan of Multan' . He is arguably the most destructive opener of this century. Virender Sehwag today celebrated his 40th birthday on Saturday.

In the cricket world, Sehwag is considered one of the most destructive batsmen, Sehwag plays as an aggressive right-handed batsman and he was also part-time right-arm off-spin bowler. He played his first One Day Internationals in 1999 and joined the Indian Test side in 2001. Sehwag was appointed as vice-president of Indian team in October 2005 under Rahul Dravid.

In January 2007, Sehwag was removed from the ODI team and later from the Test team. After returning to form in 2008 and after retirement of Anil Kumble, Sehwag was re-admitted as vice-president of both Tests and ODIs. By the beginning of 2009, Sehwag had restored himself as one of the best performing batsmen in ODI cricket. Simultaneously, Sehwag announced his retirement on October 20, 2015 a concert with all formats of international cricket.
