The budget has been announced by Ayushman India. It has two components. Free health insurance of Rs. 5 lakhs for the first 10.74 lakh families. What diseases will be covered?
Maternal health and delivery facilities, nascent and children's health, teenage health facilities, contraceptive facilities and the management of infectious, non-infectious diseases, treatment of eye, nose, ear and throat disease. There will be a separate unit for this. Apart from this, treatment of the elderly will also be facilitated.
