More than 11 lakh  BDS and MBBS aspirants appeared for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) yesterday.

According to the senior board,  "The exam was conducted from 10 am to 1 pm in offline mode in 10 languages at 1,921 centres in 103 cities for 65,000 MBBS and 25,000 BDS seats,"

"While the overall exam was not too tough a couple of questions were out of syllabus, " said Pratigya Shinde, an aspirant from Mumbai.

As per the Sudhanshu Sinhal, MD, Sinhal Medical Academy, "Most students felt that Physics section was the toughest. In my opinion the reason why students found it even tougher was due the imbalance in the 11th and 12 syllabus in Physics section. Since students generally pay more attention when they come in 12th, they have lost out on the 11th questions in Physics which were not studied as deeply as 12th topics and also not so fresh in their minds."
