According to regional Meteorological Department, depression over the Bay of Bengal will keep its intensity for next 12 hours. It will cause downpour in Gangetic West Bengal over the next two days. Heavy to very heavy rainfall can be received by districts of North and South 24 Parganas.

Light rain in Odisha, Jharkhand and West Bengal is also expected. The cyclonic circulation over East Assam can lead to moderate rain. However, the rain will reduce over Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.Western disturbance moving across Jammu Kashmir which can lead to moderate to heavy rainfall over Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Jammu Kashmir.
