Necessary ingredients :
Kabuli gram (white gram) Chickpea - 01 bowl
Paneer - 100 grams (chopped in cubes)
Tomato - 3-4 (Medium Size)
Onion - 01 Nos
Green chilli - 3-4 nos
Refined Oil - 02 teaspoons
Ginger Paste - 01 Tbsp
Coriander Powder - 01 teaspoons
Cumin seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
Red Chilli Powder - 1/2 Tablespoon
Garam Masala - 1/2 spoon
Amchoor Powder - 1/4 teaspoon
Baking soda - 1/4 teaspoon
Green Coriander leaf - 02 teaspoons (finely chopped)
Salt - according to taste


 

Method of making Punjabi Chole Recipe :

First, soak Kabuli Chana for the entire night for Punjabi Chole Recipe. Wash the gram after washing and keep it in the cooker. Mix a small glass of water, soda and salt in the cooker. After this, close the cooker lid and boil it in a high flame on the gas. When 1 whistle comes in the cooker, slow down the flame of the gas. After 5 minutes of cooking, turn off the gas and let the gas cooker cool.

As long as it is getting cold, add 2 tbsp of oil in a pan and heat it. When the oil is hot, add pieces of paneer in it and fry them lightly. After this, mix garam masala and half green coriander in the pan and stir it and take it off and keep it aside. Now grind tomatoes, green chilies, ginger finely in the mixer.

Heat the oil in the pan. Put cumin seeds in hot oil and fry it. After roasting cumin, mix onion and fry in it and fry it. After roasting onion, add Amchoor Powder, Coriander Powder, Red Chilli Powder and Tomato Ginger Paste in the pan and fry it.

When the spices start to separate from the oil, add one cup of water to it and cook until it boils. When boiling, put boiled chickpeas in and let it cook. If you are looking more gravy, then add more water as needed and cook it.

After this, put the fried paneer mixture in the pan. Allow to cook for 2 minutes, then turn off the gas and put the remaining green coriander in the pan.
