Khatauli rail accident in Muzaffarnagar is the result of a major negligence. In this case, charges and reactions have been started between the different departments of the railway.

According to sources, "the internal Inquiry report of the railway on the accident of the Utkal express has blamed the P-way department. This department monitors the route of regular trains. Northern Railway has suspended three employees while blame for the accident."

Apart from these, several officials and employees have been taken into action. Employees responsible for this accident: In this accident many employees of the railway have lost their jobs. Northern Railway has suspended senior divisional engineers and three employees working under their supervision.

Those who have suspended the General Manager of Northern Railway, after the initial investigation, senior Divisional Railway Engineer of Delhi Division RK Verma, Assistant Engineer Rohit Kumar of Delhi Division Meerut, Inderjit Singh of Muzaffarnagar and Junior Engineer of Khatauli, Predeep Kumar is involved.

Besides, the Chief Track Engineer of Northern Railway has been transferred. DRM Delhi and GM Northern Railway have been sent on leave. Similarly, members of Railway Board, engineering have been sent on leave.
