After this inning the right-handed batsman also completed 3,000 Test runs . Worth mention here this is the 29-year-old Kohli’s 4th hundred in the longest format this year in 10 Tests. Kohali earlier hit hundred in the long format in the second innings of the third Test against England.

Kohli has now become the fastest Indian to reach 24 Test century since Australia’s Sir Don Bradman, achieved the land mark in 66 innings. Kohali scored this 24 test ton in 123 innings while the former India cricketer Sachin Tendulkar scored 24 Test centuries in 125 innings .This is the 17th ton of Kohali as captain and 2nd fastest to 24 Test ton in India. Now India has scored 450 runs on Day 2 .
