Nagarjuna joins Brahmastra’s cast for the shoot of his “Special” role

Nagarjuna, the actor who is well known and well acclaimed in not only in South Indian cinema but in Indian cinema due to her various tremendous role and applauded storylined movies is again coming back to the Bollywood after around 15 years.

His last contribution in Bollywood was the war drama LOC after which he is now on the shoot for his upcoming and most awaited ‘Brahmastra’ also featured Amitabh Bachchan, Alia Bhat, and Ranbir Kapoor. The excitement of whole cast and crew was overwhelmed by their social media accounts. Karan Johar who is contributing to the production part of this fantasy thriller has taken to Twitter informed fans that the South actor has joined the other cast for the shoot of his pivotal role in the movie. His tweets reads: “We are honoured and exceptionally excited to have the one and only @iamnagarjuna doing an extremely “special” role in our film #BRAHMASTRA !! Directed by Ayan Mukerji @SrBachchan @aliaa08 #RanbirKapoor ...thank you sir for your love and your beautiful energy!”

 

 

His another post on Instagram where Ranbir and Ayan can be seen with the new member reads: “NAGARJUNA joins the cast of #Brahmastra !!! Honoured and exceptionally excited to have him do a “special” role in the film!!!!”

 

 

Notably, before heading to Europe for the shoot of the first installment of a trilogy named as Brahmastra he confirmed the news while saying: “Yes, I am doing Brahmastra. It is my first Hindi film in a very long time.”

About his role and this opportunity at the age of 59 years, he expressed: “My career in Andhra keeps me busy. I’ve not shown any inclination to do a Hindi film, though I’m open to doing films in any language if the set-up is good. Brahmastra was impressive from the moment it came to me. I said ‘yes’ immediately and now here I am on my way to shoot for it. I am looking forward to it.”
