Earlier, TD supremo Nara Chandrababu Naidu said he was Baahubali and likened Narendra Modi to Bijjala Devudu, an evil character, and father of the betrayer Bhallaladeva, in the film Baahubali. In response to that statement, Narendra Modi on Monday compared him to blockbuster "Baahubali" movie's primary antagonist Bhallala Deva and accused him of trying to keep power with his family by hook or crook.

"Falsehood, despair, and u-turn have become the TDP government’s identity. Someone was telling me...U-turn Babu's condition has become like Bhallaladeva of Bahubali film. He is constantly trying every means, dharma or adharma, to ensure power remains in his family's grasp," the Prime Minister lashed out, addressing his second election rally for the BJP in Andhra Pradesh. Modi alleged that lies, frustration, and U-turn have become the identity of the TDP government. "See the statement he made two years ago and see what he is saying today. He could not do anything but blame others. Such leadership can't be trusted by the people," he alleged.
