National athlete arrested for a fraudulent act

Police arrested National Athlete Gaurav in the case of stealing hurdles of the Sports Stadium in Aligarh, UP. Deputy sports officer Ashwini Kumar Tyagi has filed the case on the international athlete Palender Chaudhary, Gaurav, Bhanu and other few athletes.

Gaurav won the gold medal in the 100-meter race of the National Athletics Championship on June 10. Palender Chaudhary is 200-meter race player. He has won gold and silver medals in Bangkok and Kenya. Palendra said that he and Gaurav have also been selected for the state athletics championship in Meerut in June. FIR has been registered on the name of the accused. Even a few months ago, Rani Prakash, who was in charge of the Regional Sportsman, had filed a lawsuit, later which was withdrawn. On Thursday night, at the time of the theft, he was at the dentist's clinic. The police can have started investigating.

Ashwani Kumar Tyagi, Deputy Sports Officer said in a statement, "The guards and peons posted at the stadium were enquired. The name of the conspiracy was not given to anyone. Now the police work is to investigate and act on guilty."

Sanjeev Dubey, Inspector, Police Qarase, Aligarh said, "Sub-divisional officer of the Deputy Sports Officer has been sued. The investigation has started with the arrest of Gaurav."
