Nine days Navratri celebrations are on in full swing across the nation and  it is celebrated with much enthusiasm and zest by Hindus. We can see especially in parts of North and West India these nine auspicious days are dedicated to the worship of nine forms of Durga or Navdurga and devotees offer prayers to get blessed with peace and prosperity. A number of Devotees for the Goddess gives up from eating non-vegetarian food, alcohol and smoking and observe special Navratri vrat.
