Netherlands PM to attend India-Dutch CEOs forum and visit ISRO

New Delhi [India], May 19 (NT): Netherlands Prime Minister Mark Rutte is programmed to land in India for a two-day visit which will embark on from May 24 as part of India-Dutch CEOs forum to be held in New Delhi.

As per a release statement of Ministry of External Affairs on Friday, Netherlands Prime Minister Rutte will be accompanied by a high-level delegation comprising of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality,Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation; Minister for Infrastructure and Water Management; and Minister for Medical Care.

In addition, around 231 business delegates representing 130 companies have registered to fasten together the Trade Mission.

They will stand for varied sectors including agri-food, horticulture, logistics, education, smart cities, water, health and life sciences, IT, and maritime sectors.

Mark Rutte's visit comes after the 2017 visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the Netherlands.

On the sidelines of the CEO round-table discussion, Prime Minister Ruth is programmed to visit the Indian Space Research Organisation in Bengaluru.

On a related note Indian Netherlands have a bilateral trade worth US$ 5.39 billion as Netherlands is the 5th largest investor in India with a cumulative investment of US$ 23 billion for the period 2000 to Dec 2017.

Apart from this the country Netherlands is home to around 2, 35,000 Indians, the highest in Europe's mainland.
