Nikah Halala: The AIMPLB wants to outlaw it, according to Islam tradition

All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB), the largest Muslim organization in the country, is against the law against the Nikah Halala. Although he feels that its use should be discouraged and should be confined to rare rare conditions. The Supreme Court has cleared its side before hearing the case in the Supreme Court.

If a Muslim woman wants to marry again with her first husband after divorce, then she has to make physical relationship with someone else for one day. After that, she has to take a divorce with that man the next day so that she can marry her first husband again. AIMPLB says that this practice is according to Islam.

Board secretary and legal expert Jilani said, "We cannot change it. Nikah  Halala is a practice in which you can not get married after your divorce from your wife. Unless she establishes a relationship by marrying someone else. It is necessary that the wife gets divorced again. It is according to the Quran and the ideas of the board cannot be different from this."

Some people are opposing the practice of the board representing the Muslims. Some members of the Board have come forward to say that temporary marriage and the idea of re-marrying their first husband are not present in Sharia. If a marriage is done for the purpose that a woman will be divorced and she can return to her husband first, then this is haram and there is a kind of crime which should be punished.

Board member Kamal Faruqi said, "To marry this purpose with another person in order to return to her first husband, according to the Quran, it is a crime." Such couples who marry another person so that they can get married first, they should be punished under the section of the Indian Penal Code. It can not be denied that some unethical elements in the community are misusing Naillaah Halala. It is wrong and unacceptable.
