Chief Minister Nitish Kumar attended Jananayak Karpuri Thakur's Jubilee celebrations on the behalf of  Bihar's JDU Hypiphkhada cell. The ceremony was organized at Sri Krishna Memorial Hall. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar inaugurated the ceremony with a wreath on the painting of Jananayak Karpuri Thakur by lighting the lamp.

The JDU honored Chief Minister by giving him a mithila painting Mr. Laxmeshwar Rai, the State President of the Uppikhada Cell, also presented the statue of fish along with the picture of lord Budhha to the Chief Minister.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister said that “I congratulate all of you for the wonderful event of this program. Earlier, this Karpuri Jubilee ceremony was celebrated at the state level. But this year, the birth anniversary of Jananayak Karpuri Thakur is being observed in all the districts of Bihar”.

The Chief Minister further added  that “ Whatever work we do is all being inspired by Jananyak Karpuri Thakur, we have been doing this ceremony for not just to do a formality but the reason behind organizing this ceremony is to aware the upcoming generation so that they also get to about the work done by Jananayak Karpiri Thakur.

The Chief Minister Nitish Kumar ended his speech by saying that “there will be no compromise for development with justice and all this work has not been done in the wake of the vote. When the public gives us the chance, then we should serve”.
