Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has broken his silence on the Muzaffarpur Case in Bihar. During a program on Friday, Nitish Kumar said that they are ashamed of the incident, CBI is investigating the matter. Nitish said that they want the CBI to monitor strictly the high court. No one will be left guilty in this case.
Bihar Chief Minister said that nowadays the kind of mentality people have in our society is really bad. He said that there is a big crime in this incident, we have to check it properly and this is a kind of sin.
Nitish says that we have to make our system so strong that no such incident can happen again. He said that he has given assurances that such incidents will not happen again. Nitish said that they have been hurt by this incident, but by the time he is in the government, there will be a strict rule of according to the law.
After the case of rape with 34 girls in Balika Ghar, operated in Muzaffarpur, the main accused Brajesh Thakur was arrested along with his nine other associates were also caught and are currently lodged in jail. After the rape case was exposed, the police had sealed the house completely. Brajesh Thakur was previously seen with the CM Nitish Thakur.
A report was submitted by the Mumbai-based Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) to the Social Welfare Department of Bihar Government in April for the first time that a case of alleged rape was reported by girls living in the shelter house. In this case, on May 31, an FIR was registered against 11 people, including Brajesh Thakur. Now the CBI has taken the matter into consideration.
