The Nokia 1 Android Go Edition smartphone has been launched in India. Nokia 1 Android Go Edition has been made available in the popular stores across the country for Rs 5,499. The company of Nokia's smartphone maker, HMD Global, had first introduced this handset in the Mobile World Congress organized in February.
During this time the company had informed that Nokia 1 will be made available in India at the beginning of April and HMD Global is firm on its promise. This is one of the first smartphones to come with Android Oreo (Go Edition). Lava Mobiles launch the Lava Z50 Android Go handset last week. In the Android Go version, users also have a great experience in budget hardware. Apps like Gmail Go and Google Maps Go have been created for this Android platform. Nokia 1 is Nokia's cheapest smartphone in India.
Another feature of this smartphone is the Express-on-Two-Tone Polycarbonate Exchange Exchangeable Cover. With this help, the user will be able to personalize the cover of his smartphone. This Nokia phone in India has been made available in Dark Blue and Warm Red colors.
As we have already told you that Nokia 1 will be available for 5,499 rupees. This handset will be available in Warm Red and Dark Blue colors from March 28. At the same time, Express on covers will be available from April. Their price will be 450 rupees.
Talking about the launch offer, Reliance Jio's existing and new customers will get a cashback of Rs 2,200. Apart from this, 60 GB extra data will be given. The Nokia 1 smartphone will run on Android Oreo (Go Edition). It will have 4.5-inch FWVGA (480x854 pixels) IPS display. It has 1 Gb RAM with 1.1 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT 6737 M Chipset. The phone has a fixed focus lens of 5 megapixels and the LED flash is also there. A fixed 2-megapixel fixed focus camera is provided on the front panel.
Nokia 1's inbuilt storage is 8 GB. It is possible to use the MicroSD card up to 128 GB if needed. The smartphone includes 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 B / G / N, Bluetooth V4.2, GPS / A-GPS, FM radio, Micro-USB and 3.5mm audio jack. It has an accelerometer, ambient light sensor and proximity sensor. The battery is of 2150 mAh. It has talk time of up to 9 hours and standby time of up to 15 days has been claimed. The smartphone's dimensions are 133.6x67.78x9.5 millimeters.
