Continuous snowfall dips temperatures in Northern areas

Thier are placed in the Himachal Pradesh which knowledgeable the feeling of cold, where during the past 24 hours Keylong in Lahaul-Spiti recorded minimum temperature at -4.9 degree Celsius, Kalpa-1.0, Dalhousie-0.2 degree Celsius, Manali- 0.0 degree Celsius and Shimla recorded 3.4 degree Celsius, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) revealed.Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri area also received fresh-cut snowfall today.In the meantime, snow clearance work was under on Mughal Road that connects Poonch and Shopian districts in Jammu and Kashmir.The national capital was inundated with fog early Wednesday morning.

Near about some 13 trains were delayed and almost 10 cancelled and one rescheduled due to foggy weather and low visibility in Delhi.The Srinagar-Kargil, Bandipora-Gurez, Kupwara-Macchil, Kupwara-Kieran and Kupwara-Karnah roads were also get closed, police officials said.In Jammu Kashmir, there was very heavy snowfall in the hill regions of Doda, Kishtwar, Ramban, Kathua, Rajouri, Reasi and Poonch districts, due to which some inter-district and interstate roads were closed.Kargil in Kashmir recorded minus three degrees Celsius, Leh minus 1.4 degrees Celsius, Kokernag minus 0.6 degrees Celsius, Srinagar minus 0.2 degrees.
