As per the reports, Lata Didi was allegedly in decade long affair with late Raj Singh Dungapur who was the son of royalty and he had apparently promised his parents that he would not bring home a commoner bride. It is said that Raj Singh Dungapur was friend of her brother Hardiyanath. They came from different backgrounds and it might be the reason that they did not got married. Since they could not marry to each other for the commitment to the family therefore they both remained unmarried which is a proof of their eternal love.
