The fresh news on Saturday from the Noon edition of the New York Times stated that, 1.9 million Samsung Note 7 Mobiles that have been sold all over are now banned to be carried on flight and any other aviation facility. Any passenger that will be found to carry the Note 7 mobile phone on aircraft will have to face a fine along with their phone being confiscated.
There have been over 100 incidents in the US itself where the phone has exploded over overheated.
"We recognize that banning these phones from airlines will inconvenience some passengers, but the safety of all those aboard an aircraft must take priority," US Transportation Secretary Anthony Foxx said in a statement. "We are taking this additional step because even one fire incident in flight poses a high risk of severe personal injury and puts many lives at risk."
