BMW, the luxury car maker of Germany, is now going to change the technology of its car. The company is changing this simple key with the mobile app. The company says that every car owners have a smartphone and using an application to control car would be easier for them.

In such a way, they can unlock their car through the app. During the Frankfurt Motor Show, BMW's automotive executive in Robertson said that now customers will not need to handle the keys of the car.

With the Remote Services of BMW Connected which is available in App Store and Google Play Store, various vehicle-related functions, such as locking the car and unlocking it, can be operated remotely. 

The vehicle’s location can also be indicated by honking the horn or flashing the lights, or on a map in the BMW Connected App. Users can also activate their vehicle's climate control immediately or schedule a time to do so in the near future. 

In the coming days, starting our cars will not require any keys. Many car companies like Tesla use mobile apps instead of keys. Looking at the initiatives being taken by these famous companies, BMW has also tried to replace the key with the app.
