For the thousand years, “OM” is known to one of the most sacred sounds in the universe. It is believed that OM is the verbal epitome of all-pervading Lord Supreme. By chanting this mantra, one can reach profound enlightenment. This is why our ancestors believed that chanting Om can have amazing effects on us.

HISTORY OF OM MANTRA
According to Hindu Mythology, Brahma (the creator of Universe) once said, “I am one, but may I become many!” This thought created a vibration that developed a sound, which today, is known as OM. It is believed that from this sound or vibration, everything in the universe came into existence.

HOW TO CHANT OM MANTRA?
Sit in a straight posture and close eyes. Now, Take a long, deep breath and let it go. In the next breath, make an “Ooo” sound, and at halfway of this breath, slowly bring your lips together to make a sound of “Mmmmm”. Try to stretch this sound for as long as possible. 
Just do it for around 10 minutes and enjoy the calm in your surroundings.
