 Delhi today for a town hall for the Obama Foundation is likely to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the visit. The two cream of the top shares a warm relationship since when Obama’s term as the US President.

At the town hall, Obama’s visit scheduled to be seized at 3:45 PM today, the former US President Obama is likely to interact with around 280 young leaders across India.

This interaction will be poured out lived at Obama.org, also on the Obama Foundation's Facebook page and YouTube channel.

India tour is part of Obama’s three-nation visit along with other Asian nations China and France. In China, he is expected to meet President Xi Jinping, who has recently hosted US President Donald Trump in Beijing.

Two-sided relations between India and the US had touched a new elevation under the Obama’s governance. As PM Modi took a trip for US four times, and had been warmly hosted at the White House, on the other hand President Obama became the chief guest at the Republic Day celebrations in 201. Throughout the visit, Obama had even co-hosted "Mann ki Baat", with the Prime Minister's monthly radio programme.

Obama on democracies and its baselines

"Democracies cannot function without a baseline about what's true and what's false. We all have work to do and democracy is hard. Progress doesn't move in a straight line. But the trend lines are in the direction of success," he said.
