Ghaziabad, A Delhi-based businessman was shot at by two bike-borne assailants in Kotwali Loni area. SHO Avdesh Pratap said, "a resident of Karawal Nagar area in the national capital, Surender, a candle manufacturer, received 4 to 5 calls on his cellphone from a person who wanted to sell him large amount of wax at around 7.30 AM on thursday".
When Surender reached Sriram Colony near Banthala canal, the assailants, who were following him, fired three shots at the businessman leaving him critically injured, he added.
Police reached the spot after receiving information and rushed the victim to GTB hospital in New Delhi where he is undergoing treatment.
