New Delhi [India], Feb 5: Injured-list continue as one more Proteas key player added to it. South Africa's injury woes continued as Quinton de Kock was ruled out of the One-Day International and Twenty20 International series against India with a wrist injury. South Africa are already without the services of AB de Villiers and Faf du Plessis.

Proteas wicket keeper batsmen De Kock picked up the injury during the second ODI at Centurion and will need at least two to four weeks to recover. No replacement has been named which means Heinrich Klaasen is likely to make his debut in the third ODI in Cape Town. With no further participation possible during the limited-overs series against India, de Kock is now in a race against time to be fit for the first Test against Australia starting on March 1 in Durban. He has been struggling with the bat with scores of 20 and 34 odd runs to his name in the first two ODIs, to add to his bad run in Tests.

"Quinton suffered an extreme blow to the left wrist while batting in the second ODI on Sunday and felt severe pain and discomfort," Mohammed Moosajee, South Africa's team manager, said on Monday, February 5. He struggled in the preceding three-match Test series as well scoring just 71 runs from six innings at an average of 11.83.
