Chairman and Chief Technology Officer of enterprise-technology giant Oracle-Larry Ellison at Oracle Open World 2107 mock out at its rival Amazon said there will be a war between “human intervention” — and Amazon.

Oracle Open World 2107 is the company's annual flagship event which got underway in San Francisco, California on Monday.

Ellison declared the biggest threat to cybersecurity is data theft.

“In cyber warfare, it’s our computers versus their [the bad guys’] computers. That’s why we are doing everything we possibly can to eliminate human intervention,” he said, referring to the Oracle 18C, the world’s first and only fully automated database” which goes live in December.

“The key to winning in cyber warfare is to catch an attack at the reconnaissance stage when someone is nosing around your system to steal your data,” Ellison said.

According to Larry if you eliminate human labor, you eliminate human error.

Further, at an event, Larry said, “Soon, we will have 250 million hours of idle time because of autonomous driving. Imagine all the data we will generate in this free time. By 2050 the passenger economy will be worth trillions of dollars.”

The Oracle Open World 2017 will end on October 5th and nearly 60,000 delegates from 145 countries are attending this edition.
