RCB skipper Virat Kohli and Mayank Markande were the title-holder of Orange Cap and Purple Cap respectively following Match 11 of IPL 2018 on Tuesday.

Bangalore captain Kohli made 92 not off 62 balls against Mumbai Idians to take his tally to 201 runs in 4 matches. Now Rajasthan's Sanju Samson (178 in three matches) trailed to Virat .

Mumbai’s Sensational spinner Mayank Markande wrested back the Purple cap from KKR’s Sunil Narine. Now his tally has been to eight wickets in four matches. Chris Woakes from RCB also joined him on eight wickets but he has a lesser economy and average so he scored second place.

Yesterday Due to Rohit Sharma’s stunning batting Mumbai crushed Bangalore by 46 runs to mark their first succeeds in four IPL 2018 encounters.

Chasing 214 to win, Bangalore gave a poor account to MI and could only manage 167/8 and suffered their third crush in four matches.

Kohli played well but in all honesty that only pointed the margin of beat. The thrashing loss took the shine of Kohli's deed of becoming the foremost run-getter in IPL record. 

Earlier, after jaunt of 15, 11, 18 in his previous 3 IPL 2018 encounters, Rohit at last revisited his tremendous batting form as he cracked RCB bowlers. The MI skipper fell short of a century just by six runs off the fifth ball of the last over; breached many fans' hearts in the sports ground.
