New Delhi [India], March 5 (NT): After endearing every Supporting Actor Award in every promising award ceremonial this year, Rockwell just made his remarkable run in Hollywood even more special as he took home an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor at the 90th Annual Academy Awards for his tremendous performance  in 'Three billboards outside Ebbing, Missouri'.

The actor dedicated his award to well-known veteran actor Philip Seymour Hoffman and confer a shout-out to him by saying, " This is for my old buddy, Phil Hoffman."

Rockwell further said in his receiving speech by saying, " I'd like to thank the Academy - never thought I'd say those words!" he said. He also thanked his costars, the "formidable" Frances McDormand and "fantastic" Woody Harrelson, as well as recognizing his fellow nominees in the category. "You guys rock, you inspire me, and you always have."

Meanwhile, Allison Janney received the award for Best Supporting Actor (Female) for the movie ‘I, Tonya’ and best-animated feature film award went to ‘Coco’ in Oscars 2018.

While Mark Bridges won the 'Best Costume Design' for his work in 'Phantom Thread'. (NT)
