On Wednesday, RJD leader and Lalu Prasad Yadav's son Tej Pratap Yadav got engaged to Aishwarya Rai. The ceremony took place at Hotel Maurya in Patna. After convicted in the fodder scam cases, Lalu Prasad Yadav was not present in Patna for his son's engagement. Whereas, all the family members and relatives were present at the venue.

To attain the party, Lalu's sister had travelled specially to Patna. There were nearly 200 people were present at the hotel. The whole ceremony had a joy and happiness floating in the air.

There were special arrangements for the guests and for the event. The flowers for the beautification had reportedly been brought from Delhi, Kolkata, Bengaluru, and Pune.

As per a report in livecities, Priyanka Gandhi had been invited to the event and she had accepted the invitation. Yet many more politicians were present at the ceremony.

Aishwarya Rai is the eldest daughter of RJD leader Chandrika Prasad Rai. As per the sources, their marriage is likely to take place in May this year.

Groom's mother Rabri Devi, had finalised the marriage in March this year. Before finalising the things she had a word with Aishwarya's father Chandrika Prasad Rai, a former Bihar minister, and her mother Poornima Rai, who is an assistant professor in Patna Women's College.
