NEW DELHI/SURAT:  on the row of insulting PM Modi, Congress suspended Mani Shankar Aiyar on Thursday.  The former Union minister put fuel on yet another spiteful row by tagging Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a "neech aadmi".

Aiyar's choice of words not only drew a fierce attack from PM Modi in Surat but annoyed his own party functionaries who frightened potential smash up to its electoral projection because of the  such ruthless politics “He (Modi) is neech kism ka aadmi who has no sabhyata (civility)," Aiyar had told earlier in the day after Modi allegedCongress of using Dalit icon B R Ambedkar simply to obtainvotes and trying to rub out his involvement in building the nation.

Speaking an election public meeting in Surat,  PM Modi hit back at Aiyar and said crestfallen Congress functionaries had lost their mental balance and bad-tempered all limits of civility. "Mani Shankar Aiyar has called me neech and from nichli jaati (lowers caste). Is this remark an insult to Gujarat? Is it not an insult to India's enormous values? But people of Gujarat will payback on December 18 and teach you the clear-cut meaning of neech,” PM Modi asserted.

PM Modi told Aiyar's comments hit of Congress's "Mughal mindset" that differentiate between the lower and upper castes. "I, as chief minister of Gujarat for 14 years and now as PM, have done nothing that has forced citizens to hang their heads in embarrassment. If Congress feels that working for the poor and troubled is something too low, I can only desire them good luck”.
