New Delhi [India], Dec 13 (NT): Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with LK Adwani and Home minister Rajnath singh on Wednesday paid floral tribute to the brave hearts of the 2001 who faced attack at the Parliament House on its 16th Anniversary.

On December 13, 2001, in a terrible confrontation, five heavily-armed terrorists that felt rights to terror group Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), stormed the complex in the national capital New Delhi and opened fire at random.

In the order of 14 people, mostly security forces and one civilian were taken life in this unpleasant incident.

The Attacking episode took place around 40 minutes after the Parliament was adjourned and about 100 members of parliament were present in the targeting building.

far-reaching investigations exposed the taking part of four accused namely Afzal Guru, Shaukat Hussain, SAR Geelani and Navjot Sandhu. (NT)
